The parameters used by many audio designers to predict and evaluate a loudspeaker’s performance form only a part of the overall picture. By restricting evaluation of a loudspeaker to its technical attributes, the vital part - the music - is usually overlooked.

Therefore, the logical way to design a loudspeaker intended for the purpose of enjoying music is to approach it from the music - and work backwards.

The majority of the drive units used in Neat’s loudspeakers are custom-made to the company's own specifications. They are exclusive to Neat Acoustics and are not available to anyone else. This allows greater control in obtaining the desired result in a given design.
