The BFA (British Federation of Audio) has announced that it has secured sponsorship under the new Trade Show Assisted Programme (TAP) for next year’s CES at Las Vegas, 8 to 11 January 2007. The grant of £1,800 will be for eligible companies who must be “new exporters” as defined:

During the last 12 months less than 10% of turnover resulted from exports through an appointed overseas distributor/agent and no more than 25% of turnover resulted from a combination of overseas distributors and one-off overseas sales (i.e. from customers through the internet or from direct sales to overseas dealers).

To be eligible for the grant you must:

  • Take a minimum exhibition space or room of 4 Sq metres or incur eligible related stand costs of £1,800.
  • apply through the BFA by REGISTERING your intention to participate.
  • complete a simple Exhibition Grant Application Form and post show Questionnaire.
  • declare that you fall within the EU definition of an SME and are receiving no other government grants for the event.
