Living Voice has been manufacturing hand built loudspeakers for over twelve years. Over this time our design objectives have remained the same and at first glance appear simple and prosaic; to consider and address each performance parameter to an equally high standard within an overall context. Audio design so often pays such close attention to specific technical issues that the overview is lost and the musical performance is disassembled. By placing our value system above all other considerations we create loudspeaker designs of single-minded individuality. This philosophy is what informs and determines every design choice we make in the Living voice range. We believe the results we achieve are rare.

Auditorium II:
The Auditorium loudspeaker reproduces music with believable scale and dynamic contrast. The vivid, engaging presentation captures the life and immediacy of the concert hall. A large coherent picture is painted with confidence and freedom whilst the fine low-level resolution develops tonal shade and colour to the fullest and most natural extent.

Avatar II:
The Avatar significantly extends the original design concept. This model utilises a superior complement of drive units, crossover components and circuit topology. The overall presentation? A 3 dimensional soundstage projects the music with remarkable breadth and depth of field and generous scale; deeply integrated bass, clear upper frequencies and a smooth, open mid range. A whole world of musical insight is available for the taking.

OBX-R2:
The OBX-R2 takes the Auditorium Series to its ultimate conclusion. This loudspeakers has been designed specifically with the critical music lover in mind. Meticulous attention has been paid to each and every detail. It features the Scanspeak Revelator, a crossover isolated externally on compliant suspension and superior component technology. The result is the OBX-R2 can reproduce even the most complex musical performances with uncanny ease and a lightness of touch. The full range of instrument textures are presented with dynamic chromatic coherence, power and grip. There is a real sense of effortless freedom, and the overall programme is presented with integrity, presence and authority. We take pride in the fact the OBX-R2 has now become something of a reference loudspeaker, both here and overseas, amongst specialist audio manufacturers and journalists alike.
